... but who is Darren Gygi?
Darren discovered his talent for artwork at age 5 when the cow he drew was voted "the best cow" among those drawn in his Kindergarten class.
Darren studied Illustration at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
He began his career as an editorial illustrator for national publications like “Sports Illustrated,” “Fortune,” and the ever-popular “Veterinary Economics.” :)
He took his skills as an illustrator and began painting musicians, actors, and people of his own creation for galleries. He calls his unique style “urban chic.”
Darren is known for his ability to create likenesses and is also a renowned portrait artist.
Darren and his wife Megan created the Darren Gygi Home Collection—a line of décor artwork for the home, hobby, and holiday—in 2009. Together they built the line to over 400 images covering every imaginable genre.
In 2018, after 9+ years in business, Darren and Megan sold the Darren Gygi Home Collection to Sullivans, Inc. in an exciting collaboration!
When he’s not painting in his beautiful backyard studio, Darren loves to do yard work, hit the gym, and hike in the beautiful mountains of Utah. (He also caters to Megan’s home improvement ideas.)
