NEW 2017 Themes
Take a Sneak Peek at our NEW 2017 Seasonal Themes!

Color
This palette reflects the look and feel of monochromatic natural elements...wet clay, smoky haze, lush fur, the dusky forest floor, fog and clouds, the burnished California hillside, a snow covered landscape...in shades that represent a range of warm, soft, neutral tones... from ivory, through putty...grey and taupe into a grey-imbued tan. A weathered patina rust is the perfect accent color to bring out the richness of the colors and create contrast.
Color Rationale
The taupe range is predicted to continue as a major color design influence for both Home Décor and Fashion in 2017 and beyond. Benjamin Moore paints featured Taupe in it’s 2016 line up and has stated it will begin to take the place of grey which has been it’s most popular interior color in the last few years. Additionally, trends experts predict that “brown is set to become the new black” as we head into 2017, so earthy palettes will be in focus.
Concept
To create a line of casual, neutral, comfortable, homey items that will blend into a variety of décor home settings and produce a mood of warmth, friendliness, coziness and a light heart. Animals took center stage at the Christmasworld Show in Frankfurt 2016 following a strong presence in 2015 as well. While the use of felt and yarn has been one of the HOTTEST trends developing over the past 3 years, this year the use of felt took off in a new direction as it was used for finished goods rather than as accent only. The result is a neutral collection with crafted elements and rustic materials contrasted with lustrous, elegant materials such as distressed mercury glass. This collection will fit in a variety of home styles and can easily be accented with varied shades of red or mossy green if that is desired, making it quite flexible.
Elements & Execution
The mood is developed through the use of natural materials that would substantiate the use of felt as a major material of influence. The feeling is natural and hand-crafted with design details that reflect this. Shapes and finishes are simple and reflective of a rustic environment, yet, the colors are sophisticated and on trend rather than a more traditional holiday color. The feeling is light and warm and as contrast uses cool, flocked and icy finishes with glitter and snow effects.

Color
This theme is predominately a silver and champagne offering, providing a neutral décor scape for today’s contemporary or classic home. Accents of a complex blue with grey undertones and a taupe-bronze add interest and definition.
Color Rationale
As blue continues it’s journey of success, we are starting to see elements of grey-infused blues. CMG has forecast this blue as important for 2017 and 2018. Building on the popularity of Sullivan’s Winter Forest theme in 2016 which introduced a soft green, this blue has the same neutral attribute. This combination allows buyers to build a personalized collection around the silver and neutral tones with or without the blue accent and gives them the opportunity to add any color of choice.
Concept
To create a line centered around the concept of illumination and reflection and embodying classical garden elements such as a 1920’s conservatory, insects, butterflies and fairies as well as crystal and reflective elements and dramatic lighting. This collection would be suitable in any elegant home...contemporary or traditional.
Elements & Execution
The mood is developed through the use of crystal ornaments, mirrors and reflective lighting. White woods contrast with metallic glass and lighting plays an important role through the introduction of dramatic weeping willow lighting effects. Embroidered Indian textiles, opulent hand-made ornaments, gorgeous hand crafted Santas, ice-encrusted branches and glittering insects sparkle on silver dusted pine. The home décor pieces are timeless and elegant. Beautiful, stylized metal trees and reindeer are joined by other winter animals such as owls, foxes and squirrels shown in art motifs which add a beautiful winter wonderland element.

Color
The palette for this theme is all about nostalgia. Bright retro hues are reminiscent of a time gone by when life was simpler and the family home was the central focus of holidays.
Color Rationale
Bright red is still the number one color driving Christmas sales and nostalgic colors are in force for seasonal décor as Americans remember their roots and long for the golden days and memories of the childhood home. Secondary colors of green, blue and yellow gold are happy and work well with the red for a palette that is sure to please those in search of a hand-crafted, country, Americana Christmas.
Concept
Sullivan’s customers have traditionally enjoyed Americana décor and this line is intended to employ some of the elements of American country and expand on a warm and cozy Christmas theme that is Norman Rockwell meets Grandma at the farm.
Elements & Execution
The mood is developed through the use of simple materials such as felt, stoneware, cotton ticking, polished wood, burlap and tin. Home at the farm is the basis of the decorations and centers around the old homestead. A lighted farmhouse tree stand with a coordinating set of silo and barn lanterns completes the ensemble. It is further developed with a metal pick up truck and a tractor “train” pulling a flat bed cart and horse trailer. Farmer Santa and adorable farm animals with holiday décor are on hand to deliver a cheerful message. Cut wooden and tin trees & ornaments, ticking fabric textiles, burlap, wooden buttons and quilted ornaments all play a role.
